The Dive
Team and Water Rescue SOP Project
This project
has been ongoing since 1997. I currently have over 100 Dive Team SOPs on file. These
are provided to you to help you build or revise your own team SOPs. The file that I am sending first is a relatively large
file that contains complete dive team SOPs from numerous departments.
Using the Files & Creating a New SOP:
The best way to use these is to unzip the program and save is as a master document. If you
need an unzip utility, go to www.winzip.com and download their shareware version of WinZip. After you have
saved to master, open it and copy and paste each team SOP to a separate document file and save each individually.
Once saved, open a single SOP doc and copy and paste only those items that fit
your local or team. Save these to yet another doc file. Call it NewSOP. Do this for each team sop I sent; copying and pasting
to the NewSOP.doc file each time. When you are through, the NewSOP.doc file will contain almost all of what you will need
to create either a base to build on or an entire Dive Team operations guideline that is customized for your team.
If you get through all of these and need a few more or need more specialized SOPs,
let me know. If I have them, I will send them.
When you finish writing your sops, I do ask that you send me a copy that
can be added to my reference files.
We also offer an equipment program for PSD teams that helps to get the equipment
you need at better than average prices. Write to me for bids, referrals or information.
If I can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to ask. My email address is mphill9929@aol.com.
Stay Safe,
